Raptors release Stojakovic
The Toronto Raptors have completed a buyout of shooting guard Peja Stojakovic, making him a free agent.
He has been bothered by a sore knee for much of the season and has not seen much playing time.
He has missed the past 22 games, playing in just two since coming over to Toronto as a part of a trade.
The Raptors save some money by completing the buyout and open up another roster spot for a young player.
Meanwhile, Stojakovic wnated to return to the Western Conference and play for a contender, so he got what he wanted.
